I am an extremely motivated designer, highly skilled in human center design. Passionate to learn about people and understand their needs to create products that genuinely engage and delight. Along with 2+ years of banking experience, seeking to elevate UX and bring ingenuity, simplicity, and humanity to designing.

Born and raised in Cuba, I majored in Industrial Design in Cuba, and I started a part-time career in the banking industry so that I could explore more areas of design while having free time to dedicate to my graduate studies. However, working at the bank, made me realize that I have a passion for human interactions as I was curious to deepen the conversation to understand customers’ needs and make their day-to-day easier. That is the reason why I am pursuing a Master's Program in Interaction Design and Information Architecture

In my role as a Branch Ambassador, I have experienced the usefulness of a good interface by guiding the customers through digital tools. This customer service experience showed me a new career objective: to make an impact on people’s lives by understanding their needs and putting them first. When it comes to work, I thrive in collaborative, cross-functional teams, and enjoy solving challenging problems for the greater good.
